Prakash has over 25 years of experience building and leading engineering teams for large-scale consumer internet applications. In addition to leading Nextdoor’s overall technology strategy, Prakash oversees Nextdoor’s DEIB efforts to make the company and platform welcoming to all. Prior to co-founding Nextdoor, Prakash spent nearly three years at Google, where he led the core engineering teams for Google Maps and Google Base. Prakash also previously held engineering roles at Shopping.com, Epinions, and Excite@Home building community, commerce, and content applications. Prakash attended the University of California, Berkeley.
