Product update: Limit on posting to group

An important part of our mission is to enable neighbors to exchange helpful information, goods and services. In working toward this mission, earlier this year we tested a feature that allowed neighbors to share their post with groups. While testing this feature we gathered feedback from both moderators and neighbors. While some found the feature helpful, others felt content was irrelevant or unrelated to their group. Based on this feedback, we decided that we will limit neighbors to share with one group when posting.

Here is what the updated screen looks like:

1. What is changing? 
2. When neighbors are posting, they will be limited to choose one group to post to (in addition to the overall feed)
3. What is not changing? 
4. Neighbors can still create separate posts within groups they are members of
5. Why has Nextdoor made this update?
6. We want content on Nextdoor to be relevant so neighbors can exchange helpful information, goods and services.
