The 12th anniversary edition of Nextdoor’s Treat Map, the go-to guide for neighbors celebrating Halloween is here!
Through October 31st, you can drop a themed pin for your home to show that you’re joining in on the spooky season. Neighbors can post either their residence, or move the pin to another location, such as a business, but can not pin both.
To find the Treat Map click on Discover from the main navigation.
Fun features to explore:
- Share Your Halloween Spirit - Neighbors can now pin/post their homes and include info about how they’re celebrating, what type of candy they’ll be giving out, their costumes, etc, along with sharing photos of their decor and costumes
- Spread the Fun - New opportunities for neighbors to share their pins and/ or the Treat Map with friends and family.
- Explore new neighbors - Many neighbors enjoy trick-or-treating in different neighborhoods, and the “Movable Map” feature lets you explore those areas easily!
- Stay In the Loop - The “Enable Location” feature lets you open the Treat Map while you’re out trick-or-treating, so you can see all the fun activities happening around you!
As always, pinning to the Treat Map is 100% optional. Neighbors homes will never be automatically added to the Treat Map without the neighbor actively choosing to pin their home.
